At times milk was applied to produce a luster impact on the glass. They ultimately had been referred to as Kakamba Prosser beads, named following the city from the Republic of Congo where by they were being traded. Prosser beads started to tumble out of favor within the early 1900’s when much more elaborate glass bead patterns have been launched
